Analía Saban’s sculptural prints meticulously mimic the generic and ubiquitous plastic bag, often filled with groceries or takeout before it is thrown away. Conceptual pieces in that they question what subjects are worthy of an artist’s attention, they also call to mind the excessive waste produced by consumerism and the misguided perception that earth’s resources are endless.
